Hi! 😊 We’re looking for an experienced handyman, carpenter or decking repairer to assist with a small damaged section of timber decking at a residential property in Warragul, VIC. As shown in the attached photos, a section of the decking has broken away and has left an open area that needs to be repaired and made safe. We’re looking for someone who can: Inspect the damaged section and surrounding decking, including the supporting timber underneath. Replace the broken/missing decking board(s) and repair any affected supports if required. Secure any surrounding boards that may be loose or damaged. Supply and bring the timber, fixings and any other materials needed for the repair. Bring all necessary tools and equipment. Match the existing decking as closely as possible. Ensure the finished area is secure, level and safe to walk on. Remove any damaged timber/debris and leave the area tidy once completed. Please include labour and required materials in your offer. If you identify any additional damage that isn’t visible in the photos, please let us know before carrying out any additional work. Photos of the damaged area are attached for reference. We require the installation of 50 sq/metres of Hybrid Vinyl Flooring 5mm thick to large Lounge/Dining flowing into a small kitchen area PLUS a small Laundry. We require it to be played over existing Vinyl planking stuck firmly to the concrete slab. The lounge carpet area - will be removed - with an application of a levelling compound i.e. Ardit or something similar to float from the existing planking into the lounge area to minimise the slight gradient - Due date: Needs to be done on Wednesday, 18 October 2023
