Looking for a handy person with experience navigating ceiling cavities and using expanding foam. I have moved into a single story brick villa unit in the Preston/Regent area that has a brick party wall up to the roofline (cement tile roofing). I share a wall with my neighbour who is an indoor smoker and smoke is coming into my ceiling through gaps in the party wall and through my ceiling vents. There are some gaps in the brick where air can move between the two ceiling spaces, particularly between the top of the party wall and underneath the roof tiles. I have included some photos but am unable to get inside to take others. Scope of work - to advise what expanding foam product to use for this task so that I can purchase it - enter roof cavity through the manhole in the laundry and identify the gaps in the party wall between the two units - take photographs of all the gaps and send them to me - apply expanding foam product to fill gaps in party wall to limit airflow between the two ceiling spaces and take photos of same Requirements - experience navigating ceiling spaces - experience applying expanding foam to party walls/in roof spaces - you will will need to bring your own ladder, torch and any other equipment needed to safely move around the ceiling - attention to detail Additional information - flexible on timing but would prefer that it is done sooner rather than later (note - I am unavailable 22-23 June) Please include in your quote - your experience - examples/photos of similar work (if available) - estimated cost of labour - your availability over the next week

There 4 new townhouses that have been built, however building inspections have detected minor defects on the property that need to be addressed. The list is below in the photos. I need an experienced tradesman to install a very simple shelving unit to my lounge room wall. The shelf has 8 screws only and the wall is plasterboard. I would like to secure the screws into as many of my studs as possible. Pictured is (1) the shelving set, and (2) my bare wall where it is to be installed.
