The Issue: The bottom concealed hinge (European style) on the door of our security gate enclosure has snapped and come completely apart. Because the door is now loose and sagging, we cannot fully open it to push our sliding security gate into its cavity. The Job: The task is to replace the broken hinge to restore full operation to the enclosure door. The scope of work will involve: 1. Removing the broken hinge arm from the door and the mounting plate from the wooden enclosure frame. 2. Supplying and installing a new, heavy-duty concealed (European-style) hinge. 3. Securely re-hanging the door. 4. Adjusting the hinges to ensure the door hangs straight, sits flush, and opens fully to allow the sliding security gate to be stored without obstruction. I need an experienced tradesman to install a very simple shelving unit to my lounge room wall. The shelf has 8 screws only and the wall is plasterboard. I would like to secure the screws into as many of my studs as possible. Pictured is (1) the shelving set, and (2) my bare wall where it is to be installed.
