Looking for an experienced handyman/chippy to install an internal door in my hallway opening for acoustic/privacy purposes. The opening is approximately: Width: 1.2 m Height: 2.71 m The job will likely require framing one side to suit a standard door and installing the door/jamb within the opening. I will supply the door, hardware, and basic materials unless you prefer to supply (happy to discuss). I have 8 internal (inside) doors that’s are already hung and 1 laundry cabinet door that I haven’t put in the existing cavity yet. The doors do not line up with the old door lock holes in the door frame. I do not need a locksmith. They are internal doors and all you need is the knowledge to make the doors shut properly into the hole. I would like some help hanging the cavity. You may need to visit to really understand the job. The bathroom door needs a complete handle and it’s a solid door at the moment so you’ll need to drill a round hole. I do have some drill bits that make round holes. Attendance prior to job completion is probably best.

I need 3 internal doors rehung on the opposite side. I will supply new standard passage set levers. The existing mortise locks should be filled and glued. Painting will be attended to later by someone else.

Internal original door was removed by previous owner and needs rehanging and balancing. Door, hinges and handle are already present. Latch is fitted and working but needs adjustment and lubrication. Job includes rehanging the door, aligning hinges, and ensuring it opens and closes smoothly. Door may need minor sanding or light planing for proper fit. Photos attached.

We have put new carpet into our unit and 5 of the internal doors don’t close properly now. The doors need to be removed and planned down on the bottom and then reinstalled.

The screw holes on the internal door have some how over time become big, is there a way this can be fixed to get the door to hang back without the need of a new door.?

Old doors to come off and be replaced with new doors (supplied). Doors, hinges, and handles supplied, but new doors will need holes cut for handles and grooves cut for hinges - will need your own tools! 7 doors to be hung in total: - 5x Hume 2040 x 820 x 35mm - 2x Hume 2040 x 720 x 35mm In addition, old garage door and door frame have a deadlock which is no longer used. If able to replace the trim for the part of the frame with the deadlock, would be 10/10 appreciated and compensated (wood not supplied).
