Repair of a 5 * 4 cm hole in the wall and repair of a slightly larger hole in the door.

I am looking for a chippy who can help me with 4 jobs. 1: Replace 5 internal door passage sets with new ones. The existing ones are all broken after 70 years so needs to be swapped out. 2: install a cavity slider privacy set to the bathroom cavity slider. There isn’t a lock on it now. 3: replace the front door dead lock as the key only goes in one way. There is an existing deadlock lock so I’m replacing like for like so hopefully reasonably straight forward swap out. There is also a bolt in the front door which needs adjusting. 4: plane the back door as it is catching on the bottom and adjust the door so it swings freely. It’s not bad but needs a plane on the door or the sill. Everything is being painted so can patch anything as needed. Looking for someone on either Friday 25th or Saturday 26th Sept. Thanks

We have just had carpet laid and it is thicker than the previous carpet, so we need a couple of mm trimmed from the base of 14 wardrobe doors and 3 passage doors.

Need full replacement of damaged internal door in Clayton. Large hole punched through the existing white 6-panel hollow-core door (photos attached). Looking for someone to supply and install a matching new white 6-panel door (approx 2040 × 820 × 35 mm), remove the old door, hang the new one, and fit the existing brass knob/hinges (or supply new if needed). A couple of older door knobs that have loosened over time and come out in your hand even after tightening

Hi there, The top hinge on one of my internal doors has come loose because the screws have stripped out of the frame. The door is currently sagging and won't latch properly. To save us both some questions, here are a few quick details: Door Type: Standard internal hollow/solid core wooden door with a standard metal hinge. The Issue: The screw holes in the jamb are maybe stripped or come out, so it likely needs longer screws, wood plugs/dowels, or wood filler so the screws can bite again. I'm not 100% on issue but video below. Tools/Materials: I don't have the specific longer screws or wood filler on hand, so you'll need to bring your own standard toolkit and fixings. I'm not handy. Access: Easy parking available right out front, with permit, ground level. Please let me know your availability to pop by and knock this out. Thanks!

I need a reliable handyman or locksmith to replace 4 existing internal door handles with new ones. Details: The Hardware: I have already purchased and supplied the new hardware (Lockwood 31-55mm Satin Chrome Entrance Levers). They are brand new and on-site ready to go. The Scope: The doors already have standard handle cutouts which should closely align with the new Lockwood levers. However, I need you to check the fitment first. If they don't line up perfectly, you will need to slightly widen or adjust the existing timber holes/latches so the new hardware sits flush and operates smoothly. Tools needed: Please bring your standard tools, along with a chisel, files, or a drill/hole saw kit just in case minor timber adjustments or latch recess tweaks are required. Timing: Looking to get this done ASAP.
