Need an experienced handyman or carpenter to trim approximately 5mm off the bottom (without splintering!) of an internal timber door so that it can clear a rug. The task involves: • Removal: Carefully unscrewing and removing the door from its hinges. • Transport: Carrying the door down three flights of stairs to our garage (and back up once finished). I can help carry • Trimming: Trimming 5mm off the bottom edge. A clean, straight finish is essential. • Re-installation: Carrying the door back up and re-hanging it, ensuring it swings perfectly and the latch aligns. • Clean-up: Tidying up any sawdust or debris in the garage and apartment. Important Details: • Power: You can plug your power tools into the outlet in our garage. • Access: Please note the three flights of stairs; the door is a standard weight but will require someone comfortable with the carry. • Tools: Please bring your own tools (circular saw with a guide, track saw, or electric planer) and saw horses.

I need keyed locks installed on 2 internal doors and a pull out clothes line restrung

We have an internal bathroom door handle that has broken and needs fixing or replacing. The latch spring is too far out and the handles don’t move the latch in and out. Also: - tighten two other internal door handles (not broken but loose) - supply and install cover for wires below tv (old tv was a different size) - supply and install weather strip to front door.

Re-align internal door. After renovation internal door needs to be aligned by a few mm so closes properly.

Bathroom door currently sits flush with floor, I need a couple of centimeters cut off the bottom to allow drainage hose to pass under door. Refer attached photo, bathroom door on right hand side.
