What I need done: I’m looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to: 1. Come to my home (Melbourne) and measure & advise on: • TV wall mount placement (approx 65” TV) • Wall-mounted cabinet underneath (recommend size/fit) • Fly-wire/screen door measurement and suitable fit • Wall type assessment (brick, stud/plasterboard etc) • Any special fixings, wiring, cable management needs You should bring tools to measure and assess wall types (stud finder, tape/laser measure, etc) and be able to discuss options with me on-site. Deliverable: A simple written plan/spec from the visit that tells me what bracket/parts will fit, where and how to mount, what fixings to order, and any challenges. I will then order the TV mount, cabinet and fly-wire door based on your advice. 2. Install later (optional): Once I have purchased the items and they’ve arrived, I may want you to come back and install: • TV wall mount + TV • Wall cabinet beneath TV • Fly-wire/screen door Please quote separately for: A) the measurement/advice visit B) the later install visit Initial budget is just for the measurement and advice. We have erected most of the frame but ran out of time to complete the building of the outdoor dog kennel, which will house plants. I have a 7kg mirror, which measures 1.3m x 0.90cm hung up onto a wall (ensuring it’s placed into studs). It has two screw placement holes in the back, to ensure a safe positioning. I have included multiple pictures of the mirror - front with measurements and the back. Then, my front door lock is coming off from the door. The actual mechanism is 100% fine. It’s the screws which have come loose plus the outside plate is also loose. I have attached pictures of the door lock - and also measured the exact current screw which holds in the door lock. It is a flat end screw and measures 7cm.
