I have a ceiling fan that doesn’t work at its full capacity. I’ve had it repaired in the past but it’s now slower than ever. I don’t want to have to replace it but I will if it’s unfixable.

My ceiling fan is making a scraping noise when it is turned on and it is driving me crazy. Everything works fine with it; it looks very balanced when on. Just a really annoying noise.

Early self prognosis is that the capacitor has worn out (or is wearing out) due to the below signs: Slow Operation: The fan runs, but significantly slower than usual. Failure to Start/Requires "Jump Start": The motor hums but the blades do not turn, or they only turn if pushed by hand. Humming Noise: A distinct, humming sound comes from the fan motor. Speed Issues: Specific speeds (e.g., low or medium) stop working, or only one speed works. I am seeing these signs in the three fans. NOTE: I do not have replacement capacitors and will need these supplied as part of the job offer.

Fix ceiling fan in bedroom and we already purchqsed a fan

I need a qualified electrician to take a look at a few ceiling issues in my home: • A ceiling fan/light combo that’s stopped working. • Two or three downlights in the hallway and bathroom that aren’t working (might be related to the transformer or connection). My fan stopped working suddenly. If I push manually then it keeps running at that speed. Most likely the capacitor that is inside the switch needs to be changed. I am attaching the photo of the capacitor. I need someone to replace the capacitor if that is the issue.

Fan has 1 speed - slow! Think it's the capacitor?

The fan controller has 4 speed setting (off, 1, 2 and 3). Both 'off' and '1' do not start the fan. '2' and '3' spinning at the fastest rate. Likely the capacitor issue?

Install new x2 power points of 6 internal. Install new x2 power points 1 external on backyard brick wall. Install new bulb on ceiling on backyard with new switch. Fix Fan speed issue currently running slow, replace capacitor. Replace standard mirror with LED mirror bathroom 900x900. I will supply the mirror.
