Find an experienced handyman in Altona Meadows

I have a dog door that is large-ish that I want to reduce the size of.

Recently moved into our new place (few months ago) and are looking for an experienced painter who has great knowledge in external wooden window frames, repaired wood if needed as well as repainting all windows frames to white. House is around 40 years old and would like this to be done prior to winter. 2 larger windows that are already white, & 5 windows that are brown that we'd like to be white to match the larger white windows at the front of our property. Garage door does not lock properly. Need someone to supply and install new side locks with new steel cable, do some welding to securely fix the locks, and extend the door stop on one side to ensure proper locking and alignment.

2 bedrooms need the existing blinds & crtains removed and new blinds installed. The new blinds are slightly wider than the timber window framing so I suspect will need to be affixed to the plaster wall just above the wndow.

Remove and replace mesh for external sliding door (do not have spare mesh at home) . Current mesh has holes - Due date:today

We need a carpenter or handyperson to convert an archway into a doorway. The property has recently been refurbished (2019) and we have an 985mm wide archway to have a door installed. We already have a brand new, unpainted 920mm door and some of the components required for the jamb. We need it to be installed as soon as possible for a reasonable price.

A hole in the wall needs patch work. I want same colour of wall.

To inspect and repair water leaks around window frames in my home. The issues occur during heavy rain or strong wind. There is visible damage around the edges and above the windows, including: • Bubbling and peeling paint • Some fungus growing in the corners I need someone who can: • Identify the source of the leak (window seals, flashing, waterproofing, or surrounding wall) • Reseal and waterproof the affected areas • Advise if any repairs to plaster or frames are required

Need 2x cat flaps installed. Both in wooden doors. Cat flaps are purchased from Australian pet doors and ready to go. Photos of both sides of both doors included as well as the cat flaps.

A section of my Alloy & PVC stormwater downpipe has come loose and fallen off the side of the house. I need someone experienced to reattach and secure it properly to the wall and ensure correct water flow. I need two door knobs installed I have the knobs already. You need to drill new holes for the bolts etc.

The roller shutter is closed and won’t open. There is power to it. Sounds like a ‘ chug’’ won’t ‘catch’ as it tries to open.

We require someone to put shade cloth between our fence and our brick house. A portion will be to a metal pergola too. It will be the length of the house
