Hi there, I need a handy person or a flooring specialist to repair a damaged section on my timber flooring. The Issue: There is an area with a cluster of heavy dents/scratches (as shown in the photos). The top protective coating in that specific spots have cracked and flaked off slightly due to the impact. The damaged area is relatively small (approx. less than 15cm x 15cm), located on 1 or 2 floorboards. What needs to be done: 1. Clean/lightly sand the loose, cracked coating around the edge of the dent so it doesn’t peel further. 2. Fill the dents to make the surface flush/level with the rest of the floor. (Hard wax melt repair or timber filler method preferred). 3. Touch up with a clear seal/coat (Satin/Gloss) over the repaired spot so it blends in and is protected from moisture. Requirements: Please bring your own tools and materials (matching fillers/wax and touch-up coatings). am not expecting a 100% invisible factory finish, but it needs to be level, sealed, and visually blended in as much as possible so it’s not an eyesore. Timber laminate flooring in unit is popping up in one place near a window. Suspect it needs trimming with multi-tool near wall to give more expansion. Job is to inspect, diagnose fault and fix it. I have 1-2 spare boards available to use if board replacement is required.

We sanded our floors and now have to sand back the railings in our stairs. We plan on painting them white. We are in Eltham

Hallway carpet needs to be ripped up and timber laid as dogs have ruined it during the colder/wet months. Area is approx 15m2. Timber and tools would need to be provided as nothing at house.

We several dark water stains on our timber floorboards which need to be repaired as part of an end of lease clean. The stains were caused by water collecting below pot plants and a long mirror. In the first instance, we are hopeful, some stains can be repaired without requiring sanding and refinishing. Looking for a professional floor expert to help us with this job.

Need someone to finish this timber flooring in the areas in the photos(including under fridge). Some panels may need to be removed (eg. Where cut on an angle) to allow for a clean finish. I have the flooring panels onsite. The floor that is concrete in photos needs to be levelled with the tiled areas. I have some 9mm boards made from MDF to cater for this. They need to be cut down and fitted before the timber flooring is placed down.

Protective floor pad moved from couch leg and adhesive from this stuck to the ground. When I went to lift couch to move it, it ripped this piece off in one clean chunk. The irony.

I have a pine timber deck about 3m x 3.2m which needs sanding back so that I can stain it. I tried to Gerni off mould and now it’s patchy ☹️

Looking for someone experienced with timber floor repairs to fix a few small chips/gouges in our wooden floorboards. Damage includes: -A couple of small holes/chips in the wood -some surface wear/scratches in nearby area I’m not looking for a full sand/polish at this stage — just a tidy cosmetic repair (fill, colour match, and seal if needed) to make the damage less noticeable. I have a timber fence that has been pressure washer cleaned in preparation for oiling/ staining. I need the fence sanded lightly to remove some of the furry timber that is a result of the pressure washing. I have sanding equipment on-site to use if required.
