Used to me able to duplicate monitor with Laptop screen. Now i can only hvae 1 or the other, not both. Looking for someone to fix.

Would like help in sorting out laptop and desk top-rarely used both Apple but also have another notebook using windows which is more suitable it seems - colleagues agree! Computer- Windows 11. The task bar wasn't working. I used video to repair - did so but the "Chrome Icon" still will not work. Back to the books/videos to fix it. I have managed to change the" Chrome"to "Chrome 1" short cut, still will not work. Need someone to fix please. Maybe able to "remotely" fix even.
