Find a local Microsoft Windows helper in QLD

I'm having issues with my ASUS laptop. When I turn it on, it gets stuck in the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) and won't boot into Windows. I've tried Startup Repair and basic Command Prompt troubleshooting, but the repair tools failed and it shows partition access errors. The system needs to be reinstalled or repaired.

Install Latest Windows 11 on Existing PC and Transfer/Preserve Data. Wants old PC to be up and running

We need windows reinstalled on our desktop computer urgently. Is someone available now?

I have an older MacBook Pro that was previously set up as my work computer. I now own it personally and want it completely cleaned up, updated and set up for personal use. It is currently configured with both Mac and Windows via Boot Camp. I no longer need Windows or Boot Camp and would like it returned to a Mac-only setup. I’m looking for someone experienced with MacBooks/macOS to: • Remove Windows/Boot Camp and return the full drive space to Mac • Remove old workplace accounts, profiles, software and settings • Check for any remaining company management/MDM profiles and remove where legitimately possible • Complete a clean/factory reset • Install the latest macOS officially supported by this MacBook Pro • Install all available software/security updates • Set me up as the personal administrator with my Apple ID • Check storage is correctly configured and fully available • Make sure Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, camera, sound, keyboard, trackpad etc. are working • Leave me with a clean, updated MacBook ready for personal use When making an offer, please include: 1. Your experience with Macs and Boot Camp 2. How long you expect the entire job to take 3. Your availability 4. Where you would undertake the work 5. Whether the whole process can be completed while I am present I would ideally like this completed at a local coffee shop/café while I am there, rather than leaving the laptop with someone, so please advise if this is practical and how much time I should allow. Looking for someone with strong Mac-specific experience who can make the process easy and straightforward.

I need a technician to fix a Windows-based PC used for our Dahua CCTV system that has crashed. The monitor is currently showing a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) with the stop code: BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO. The job involves: Diagnosing the Error: Troubleshooting the Windows boot failure to see if the registry or BCD can be repaired. Operating System Recovery: If a repair isn't possible, performing a clean reinstall of Windows. CCTV Software Setup: Ensuring the Dahua monitoring software (SmartPSS/DSS) is reinstalled and the camera feeds are restored. Hardware Check: Checking the health of the Hard Drive and RAM to ensure it isn't a physical failure.

Need an experienced IT technician to wipe and reinstall Windows on a Dell laptop that was previously a work device. I can’t log in and Reset this PC is asking for a BitLocker recovery key, which I don’t have. I’m fine with all data being erased. Need someone who can create bootable install media, perform a clean Windows install, and confirm whether the laptop is still tied to corporate management (e.g. Intune/Autopilot). I have a Mac, so I may need you to bring what’s needed. I wish to have the latest windows installed.

Task Description: I need a tech-savvy professional to help configure a Windows Server 2016 VPS (Sydney-based) for high-performance strategy automation. Key Requirements: Excel Setup: Install/configure Microsoft Excel on the server. API Integration: Help connect a price data API into Excel. Performance Optimization: Disable unnecessary Windows background services and sync the system clock for low-latency data. Software Linking: Link the software to Excel, which looks fairly simple I have the server login and the specific strategy logic ready to go. I just need someone to handle the "plumbing" and ensure the environment is stable and fast. We have used Google Gemini Pro in this project and it sits ready to help you set this up. It says this is an hour, 2 hours max job. I'm just not a real techy type and need this up and running tomorrow. Thanks, Rob
