I’m looking for an experienced cabler, electrician, or NBN conduit installer to prepare a new conduit pathway for NBN at my terrace house in Balmain. There is an NBN pit directly outside the front of the property. The existing old Telstra/phone conduit runs through the sandstone and up the side wall, but it is currently being used for the neighbour’s NBN connection and is not large enough to run a new service into my terrace. I need someone to install a new NBN-compliant conduit pathway so that NBN can later run their cable through it and directly into my front living room. Scope of work: 1. Drill through the sandstone at the front of the property on my side, near the existing NBN pit. 2. Install suitable conduit from the pit area up the side wall, next to the neighbouring conduit. 3. Run the conduit discreetly under/across the underside of the front balcony. 4. Bring the conduit down the front wall into the bottom corner of my front room, behind the bins/window area (see photo) 5. Terminate the conduit so it is ready for NBN to pull their service through and install the connection. 6. Ensure the conduit, bends, entry point, and installation method meet NBN standards. 7. Make the installation as neat, discreet, and unobtrusive as possible, as it is on the front facade of a terrace house. The approximate conduit route is shown in the attached marked-up photo: the NBN pit is marked in blue, the proposed sandstone drilling point is marked in yellow, and the approximate conduit path is marked in red. There is no power available on the front wall of the upper level, so the connection cannot be installed upstairs. The goal is for the conduit to enter into the bottom corner of the front living room. Please only respond if you have experience with NBN conduit preparation, external conduit runs, drilling through sandstone/masonry, and understand what NBN will require in order to pull the cable through later.
