I have a LOT of cables I need managed as I have a gaming PC, but also occasionally work from home so need to be able to switch my monitor views between a PC and laptop. As you can see, this will be a fairly big job. I also have a setup similar to a streamer that will need some audio/visual connection (i.e. a DSLR camera webcam and a dynamic microphone). Additionally, I have external speakers that sit on stands. I can walk you through how this should be connected, so long as you can manage the cable lengths neatly. My desk is a standing desk, so it needs to be able to accommodate different heights. I have some cable ties and accessories, but feel free to bring your own. If I am happy with it, I will pay additional for your materials costs. My preference is no drilling into the walls, so please use command strips if you would like to stick things to the wall. My past attempts at managing the cables have been an absolute mess. I’d like it to be hidden as much as possible and relatively integrated with the desk’s built-in cable management solution. A photo of my desk is attached. Unfortunately, no photos of my past setup as I forgot to take one before I took it down when moving. But I’m very curious to see what it can look like with a professional’s helps. If you have any past work you can show me of your cable management, that would be great.

Looking for an experienced computer technician to come in person and fix a Lenovo ThinkPad X9-14 Gen 1 laptop (Windows 11) that has become extremely slow. The CPU is locked at 0.40 GHz against a 2.20 GHz base speed, so the whole machine crawls. Apps take several minutes to open or freeze entirely, which is why this needs to be done face to face. Remote support will not work here because the laptop is too slow to reliably run remote-access software or load tools in a usable time. What I’ve already tried: • Confirmed it’s charging (lightning bolt showing) • Multiple restarts and full power-downs • Checked Windows power plan and power mode • Opened Lenovo Commercial Vantage, which shows a red error: “The Lenovo Power and Battery driver is not installed or is not working properly,” and Battery health shows “Not supported” Likely a missing or broken Lenovo Power Management driver needing a reinstall, and/or a BIOS/firmware update. If it turns out to be a hardware/sensor fault, I’d want advice on warranty next steps (the laptop is under warranty). Need someone who knows Lenovo ThinkPads and Windows driver/firmware troubleshooting, and who can bring a USB drive with the relevant drivers in case the laptop is too slow to download them itself.

I believe the powerboard supplying power to my father's tv/foxtel/NBN box has blown (it is very old). A new powerboard needs to be connected to the wall but we cannot access the wall due the amount of clutter and the large cabinet blocking access. My father is elderly and can't move this stuff himself. I need someone who can do the following: 1. Carefully move all these bits and pieces away in order to access the plugs behind the cabinet, marked in red in one of the photos below. Please note this will be tricky as his house is full of this kind of clutter so there is not a lot of space to move things. I can send more pics of the space. These items are very precious to him and need to be moved with care. 2. Assess the situation behind the cabinet and make sure the electrical set up is safe and not likely to short circuit or create a fire hazard. Ensure all of the above + the wifi is working 6. I’ve started a new job and I’m pretty much clueless when it comes to computers. I’d like someone to help me understand the basics.

We have recently had our desktop upgraded. The printer is connected to wifi and set as default printer but print jobs are sitting in the print queue, I need this fixed. Also, I have an Aussie BB email address that I would like added to Microsoft Outlook. I have tried to do it and have selected IMAP but it is not adding. I can log into Aussie BB through the Aussie BB webmail page but would like it in Microsoft Outlook for convenience.

We have fast internet coming into our Google Nest(500-750mbps), but the internet is very unreliable even with 3 Google Nest’s around the apartment. We struggle on calls for work and can’t understand why. We have most Sonos working in the apartment but there are two integrated speakers which aren’t working.
