Unifi dream machine and wifi not working

-Our modem is connected to the Ethernet/data socket upstairs where tv is. -From there, we have TWO wifi transmitters. One upstairs which is connected straight into the modem -2nd wifi transmitter is connected into the Ethernet/data socket downstairs in living room. From what I read online, the wifi transmitter is connected via wifi signal and that’s why it’s weak. If we can use ‘wired backhaul’ it’ll be stronger esp for downstairs. NBN box is in garage.

Hello We’re seeking a Wi-Fi expert or guru, we have an existing Wi-Fi system that has signal issues in one of the back bedrooms, I purchased a mesh network (three unit) and then suddenly became out of my depth, Looking for someone to come assess the issues install the new mesh network onto the existing Wi-Fi and improve the signal strength throughout the property.
