I’m looking for an experienced bricklayer or brick repair specialist to inspect and reinstate 6 blocked weep holes on the rendered front wall of my house (ground level, Coomera, Gold Coast). A previous building inspection identified the weep holes as blocked. I carefully removed a small amount of paint/render from one location and found a brown insert beneath the surface. I’m not sure whether it’s part of the original Weepa system or another construction material. Scope of work: * Inspect the 6 weep holes and identify the blockage. * Safely reinstate the weep holes without damaging the cavity flashing, DPC or termite barrier. * Make good the surrounding render/texture coat so the finished result is neat. Please only quote if you have experience with brick veneer weep holes or rendered brick repairs. Photos are attached.

Hi there, We need a plasterer to help us with some repairs tomorrow (Sunday 26 July) as we have other tradies coming this week. - Laundry: Hole in ceiling repaired where an AC previously leaked - Removal of damaged cabinet under this hole (as cabinet maker is coming this week) - Wall in lounge: repair hole in the wall, fix bubbled paint, plaster crack and prepare skirting for painting (we will get the wall painted after whatever plaster you do to it) - walls in entrance hall and stairwell - have about 8-10 small holes or scrapes that need to be filled (we will get these repainted afterwards) See pics! Thanks - I have enough response to this - just working through them over the weekend Apologies first attempt at air tasker- need qualified carpenter to complete removal of some framing and replace with the required framing for a cavity slider to allow and re-plastering . Also require the replacing of 2 bracing rods to be replaced. The area is 4.2m x 2.5m, photos attached.

What's involved: Bag up and clear all loose insulation from the floor (it's piled fairly thick throughout the room) Remove and stack all gyprock/plasterboard debris Load everything and take it away for disposal Please note: Tasker to arrange own truck/trailer and cover all tip/disposal fees — please include these in your quote. Ground-floor access, room is easy to walk into. Framing, wiring and brick walls stay — it's just the debris on the floor to clear (see photo). The room will need a general sweep-out once the bulk is gone. Replace rotten lower hardwood balustrade rail only x2. Existing post is sound. Reuse existing balusters if possible. Supply matching hardwood, install, prime all cut ends. Painting not required. Price negotiable

We have just raised the height of a balustrade beside a set of external stairs through on-site steel welding. The task now is wire brush the welds to remove any rust and scale, prime all new weld joints and then to paint the balustrade black (monument). This only applies to the new, raised section of the balustrade. The photos show the that balastrad looking down and then looking up as well as a typical welded joint that need to be prepared. The photos also show the lower balustrade already painted black and needing no further work and the new upper work which has been primed grey. There is also some new infill bars in the old section shown in the photo looking up the stairs that need to be painted.

Timber base board and uprights have rotted. Need a qualified handyman to be able to remove the base boards (two of them) and then replace all of the uprights including the three long ones in the middle, finally replacing the base boards with new timber Price negotiable and suitable timber will be supplied with your guidance.
