We have a loud "drip-ping" echoing noise coming from 3 Colorbond downpipes when it rains — water free-falls inside the pipes and strikes the bottom elbows, causing a loud banging/drumming sound. All 3 downpipes are upstairs on a double storey townhouse, located outside the bedrooms. Looking for someone with proven experience specifically fixing this noise issue — please only apply if you've done this fix before and can show past success. Not looking for general trial-and-error. Job required: Install a weighted nylon cord or plastic-coated chain down the full length of each downpipe (from the gutter outlet to the bottom elbow) so water clings to it via surface tension instead of free-falling and hitting the elbow, reducing/eliminating the noise across all 3 pipes. I require 2 kitchen cupboard doors to be re-attached. The hinges are broken and those hinges aren’t made anymore. I also require a third kitchen cupboard re-attached I have the hinges for that one. Leak does not appear to come directly above ceiling as it is dry on top of platform but wet/leak appears to run along base timber adjourned to side of house (which as come through and leaked as per picture). Ceiling insulation mats have already been installed. Want someone to place the existing insulation mats in the joists such that there are no areas exposed. The insulation mats were moved around a bit during home renovation works. Double storey home, has manhole access at ground and first floor.

There is a leak in my roof which has recently gotten worse to the point where significant water is getting in when it rains. Note this is a 1950s house and this is a back add-on, the roof is colorbond/tin but there is no roof space here (see photo). I haven’t gotten up to look at the exterior so not sure what the external cause is. I’m flexible on time/date etc.

I have 2 Downlipe connections leaking water when it rains. It’s the angle coming down from the gutter and attaching to the house. That 90degree bend is leaking. Maybe needs glue or a section replacement. Jon includes parts, labour and whatever material is required to fix the issue. Gutters are new, just the downpipe angle joint is leaking. Double story house so you need a long ladder . 2 pipes need to be rectified.
