Hi! I’m looking for a plasterer to mesh and skim coat the upper walls of my bathroom (60s double-brick apartment). The bathroom is approximately 2x2.5 m. The walls are original solid plaster (I think) and most of the old paint has been removed. There are heaps of hairline and visible cracks across the walls. Tiles stop at mid-wall height, so work is required above the tiles only. Scope of work (I think!) includes preparing the existing plaster, applying fibreglass reinforcing mesh over the wall surfaces, and applying a full skim coat to achieve a nice even finish. Walls should be sanded and left ready for priming and painting. Painting is not required, I will do that myself! Please note I live on the third floor, with no lift!

Seeking quotes for the following work please: - repair plastering around an air-conditioner that was replaced and damaged in order to access pipes. Please refer to photos. There is a chunk taken out back to timber stud. This is to be repaired/replaced as needed to recreate original look. It may be necessary to add on to these niche verticals on one or both sides to ensure they are even and centred against the air-con and tv. - Hide the black air-conditioner pipe running out right bottom side of unit. Potentially surround entire air-con unit with plaster to hide it behind. - Fill in the narrow gap that exists between the balcony window frame to right and the plaster section that runs the full height. Basically continue the plaster all the way to window frame so there is no longer a gap. - No painting necessary.

Hi there - sorry my tasks changed. Grateful for a quote please including airtasker fee. Small plaster fix to bottom of fireplace. Fix door knob. Change out single clothes line as per attached photo (take off old one which is similar/round and affix new square one). The hook part is already affixed to the opposite wall so just needs changing out the part with the retractable line. Change two lightbulbs - one on high ceiling. One on medium ceiling. (Would also be grateful if you could look at shower door to see what might be needed to stop water leaking out when taking a long shower - it doesn't always do it - so may not need a fix but would appreciate if you can look at it and quote that separately).
