Find a local network troubleshooter in VIC

We have an existing 5G Wifi Network set up at home via TPG/NBN. No issues with the service itself. Undertaking a speed test next to the modem, the 466mbps is being achieved however my office is located at the front of the house and the modem is near the back of the house. I have a 5G extender and 3 x TP-Link Deco Mesh Wifi system units set up to try and replicate that coverage in my office but as you can see from the photo attached, I am only achieving 100mbps, even with the help of the mesh system. It would be great to have someone familiar with setting up Mesh Wifi systems to come to our home and help set the system up the best way possible, to maximise download speeds in my home office. What’s Involved Trace and test all Ethernet wall ports and cables to determine which outlet connects to which room. Hi, I need help with fixing my nbn dramas. To outline briefly: 50/20 connection WiFi lights are on DLINK No internet in the office Have a NETGEAR Nighthawk net system This has worked in every other house Here: it’s not working & i have been told by ChatGPT that the Dlink & Netgear are both trying to be the router. The Dlink has to be turned to bridge mode to fix & the netgear nighthawk net will be the modem. Need help asap.

The person who installed our Ubiquiti system last year has moved to Geelong, and therefore now unavailable. Just recently there seems to be a problem with wifi coverage and functionality. We wanted to find a local professional to help fix or improve our network. Hi all - Seeking advice, and support to set up in a home environment, the network of devices that my child uses and management of them at the network level. Unfortunately, he recently become fixated on streaming, YouTube / twitch - lead to a v unhealthy life balance. Taking the devices away / turning internet off, is not possible at this stage. Happy to explain why in conversation. I want to encourage constructive gaming using a desktop set up, So, looking for advice on a desktop setup and with the aim of limiting use of iPad and school computer. Currently He has - Iphone (w own data intended only for calls /texts ), iPad (used for gaming via apps- connected to hm internet) school computer ( windows intended only for school but used for streaming, connected to hm internet). Wanting advice and help w network level management of: Time limits / schedules (when device or internet can be used) Content filtering (blocking certain websites or apps) Monitoring / reports of usage Remote control / ability to change settings from parent device Currently using Telstra gateway but not effective. Own a Nighthawk but not being used. Advice on alternative modems routers parenting apps, that will be effective for my need. I need someone to help me setup my own VPN server and configure the home network (including modem and router) and teach me how to connect to my home vpn while I am using an external network. I have a Synology 218+ NAS, which has OpenVPN. I also have computers that can be used as a server. I managed to set up the OpenVPN server and was able to connect to the server from the client, but I have not been able to use the internet once connected to the VPN. I suspect there is a DNS issue and a port forwarding issue. Not sure.

Configure IP addresses and related settings according to the provided documentation. 4. Connect broadband to the router and bring all devices on the network online.

Switched to starlink and having network issues

I have NBN and a home data network plus wifi - I need a person to come in and make sure all of the connections work. everything is there but i am not sure what connects to what.... WiFi is weak and inconsistent but i have fibre to the house - i need to make better use of the Cat6 data cables throughout the house. see images

Hi There I am working at Expert Education, Level 4 / 313 Flinders Lane, Melbourne VIC 3000. Our Wi-Fi has stopped working, although the wired (cable) network is still functioning properly. It seems the issue may be related to the Wi-Fi router. Could you please arrange an inspection at our office to resolve this? Thank you for your assistance.

We have an opticom/uniti network (NBN) and as well as Optus 4g. Connecting directly is working, but when the network is plugged into the rack which supply network to access points etc it’s not working need this fixed

We are unable to connect our home network to the internet. We recently changed to FTTP, and switched from Telstra to Spintel, then to Tangerine and now cannot get our TP Link wireless mesh network system to connect to the internet. We have tried creating a new network, but still cannot get it to find the internet. Tangering customer service is frustrating. We need an expert to come in, set it all up and provide us some recommendations on how to optimise for speed and consistency going forward, please.
