NBN FTTP Battery Backup Box Removal / Upgrade – South Morang
$10
South Morang VIC 3752, Australia
15th Aug 2026
NBN FTTP Battery Backup Box Removal / Upgrade – South Morang Looking for an experienced NBN/FTTP registered cabler or technician to help tidy up an older NBN installation at my rental property in South Morang. The property currently has the older NBN FTTP power supply with battery backup (pictured). I no longer require the battery backup and would like the old bulky unit removed/replaced with the newer, smaller standard NBN setup if permitted. There is currently no active NBN/internet service at the property, and I don’t want to sign up for a service just to have this done. Looking for someone who: * Is appropriately registered/qualified for NBN/FTTP work * Understands NBN’s Authority to Alter requirements * Can advise what can legally be removed or replaced * Can leave the NBN connection ready for future tenants Please let me know if you’ve done this type of NBN work before and provide a quote. Location: South Morang, VIC
Small Business Network Upgrade – Router, Wi-Fi & VoIP
$350
Heidelberg VIC 3084, Australia
7th Aug 2026
Looking for an experienced small-business network technician to upgrade and troubleshoot our network at an optometry practice in Heidelberg. Installation must be completed after 5:00pm on a weekday to minimise disruption to the business. Current setup: • NBN FTTP • NetComm NL1901ACV router with intermittent dropouts • Existing network switch and Ethernet cabling throughout premises • Multiple wired PCs and local server • VoIP phones • Wi-Fi Considering a TP-Link Omada ER7212PC with an Omada Wi-Fi access point, but happy to take advice on the most appropriate equipment. Work required: • Inspect existing network, switch and cabling • Install and configure replacement router • Install/configure Wi-Fi access point using existing Ethernet cabling • Configure DHCP/static IPs as required • Ensure server, PCs and VoIP phones continue operating • Test internet/network stability after installation • Troubleshoot the existing dropout issue and confirm whether the router is the likely cause Ideally looking for someone experienced with TP-Link Omada/UniFi, small-business networking, VoIP and Windows server environments. Equipment can be purchased beforehand based on your recommendation. Budget is for labour only; networking equipment will be supplied/purchased separately. Please include your relevant experience, availability and estimated labour cost.

Upgrade my PC
$100
Wheelers Hill VIC, Australia
27th May 2026
Current issue/problem: My Dell XPS 8950 desktop has become noticeably sluggish during heavy multitasking and day-to-day productivity workflows despite already upgrading the RAM to 64GB. Symptoms include: * General system sluggishness * Lag when switching between applications * Browser slowdown with many tabs open * Reduced responsiveness under multitasking * Occasional freezing/stuttering * Slow overall Windows performance After investigating, the likely issue appears to be storage-related rather than CPU or RAM limitations. Current setup: * Intel i7-12700 * 64GB DDR5 RAM * GTX 1650 SUPER * 256GB SSD boot drive (almost completely full) * 1TB HDD secondary drive The 256GB system SSD is critically low on free space, and the current storage architecture is likely bottlenecking performance. The system also still relies on a traditional HDD for secondary storage. Planned upgrade: * Install new WD Black SN850X 2TB NVMe SSD * Fresh Windows 11 installation onto new SSD * Configure new SSD as primary boot drive * Keep existing drives as secondary/archive storage Goal: Restore fast, smooth responsiveness and improve multitasking performance without replacing the entire PC.

Hey guys, I’ve got a custom PC setup and I’m looking for someone experienced to help me switch cases and give honest upgrade advice. 💻 Current Specs: Ryzen 3 3200G (3.6GHz) GTX 1650 (4GB) 16GB RAM 1TB Samsung SSD Windows 10 Home (64-bit) 🎯 What I need: Transfer my current build into a new green PC case (my current case is very old and basic black) Ensure no data loss at all Clean cable management + airflow setup Recommend a few solid green case options I can buy (budget-friendly) Give advice on small upgrades to make the system smoother for video editing (nothing crazy expensive) 💡 Important: I’m on a budget, so I’m not looking for a full rebuild Just want the PC to run smooth, clean, and reliable Ideally someone who can explain things simply and give honest recommendations 💬 Bonus if you: Have experience with editing setups (Premiere Pro / CapCut / DaVinci) Can suggest the best value upgrades (not just expensive ones) Happy to pay for quality work just want someone who knows what they’re doing and can guide me properly.

Consultation on-site - internet upgrade
$30
Port Melbourne, Victoria
2nd Feb 2026
On site consultation - discount Vocus internet 100/100 no test done as speeds shown correlate with staff in office 4 / 100 real world speed approx 30mbps, VPN can also cause speeds to be slower due to connecting location, speed to be measured if upgraded plan is implemented Vocus plan may be outdated Diana to confirm and update to a better plan if available, assistance available if required. Current plan maybe on enterprise, business plans available differences to be confirmed as plans vary greatly pricing. Hardware should be able to deliver 1000/400 unless CPU on modem is capping speeds CPU usage 100% Then upgrade required add ubiquity router for better through put. Ubiquity access point speeds should also be able to get real world speed 800mbps @5ghz / how many users accessing

Prep work for NBN upgrade (no cabling work) install wall entry conduit
$100
Richmond VIC, Australia
21st Dec 2025
Prep work for NBN upgrade only (no cabling or data work). Set up the conduit from external wall at the NBN box(photo) to living room about 10m away. Install a wall entry cover/conduit and allow the NBN cable to run into the ceiling space and drop into the living room via an existing downlight/roof cavity. Possibly need a small hole drilled through the external wall if no other options. No termination, electrical, or licensed cabler required. Must be neat and weatherproof. Bring your own tools and materials (electrical conduit). As this is a 2-stories house bring a ladder just in case.
