I am looking for help to hang 1x solid timber- / 10 lite glass internal door. I have purchased new hinges . The door jam will need to be chiseled to fit the hinges. The door already has recesses for the hinges (see pictures). As the door is heavy if you are available Saturday or Sunday afternoon 16-17 May that would be ideal as we can help you hold the door during installation. I look forward to hearing from you

Repairs of internal door frame that has come loose over time through wear and tear

Due to new carpet the doors are rubbing on the carpet and need to be trimmed slightly to ensure sommoth closing.

We have an internal door that no longer closes properly — likely due to slight movement in the house and/or a latch issue. From what I can tell: - The door seems slightly misaligned in the frame (may need planing/sanding or hinge adjustment) - The latch/strike plate may not be lining up properly - The handle itself might also need attention (happy to replace internal mechanism if required, but would like to keep the existing handles) Looking for someone who can: - Adjust hinges and/or sand the door if needed - Realign latch/strike plate - Replace internal latch mechanism if faulty (I can cover cost of parts if needed) NOTE: This functional fix only - it doesn’t need to be a perfect cosmetic finish. We would like the internal door handles and locking mechanisms replaced on seven internal doors. We will supply the new handles, which we have just bought from Bunnings. It looks to me like the current door handles are an older style with a smaller hole, so I think a wider hole will need to be cut out.

Earn quick money over the break before you return to work! Door needs simple repairs - it slammed shut, has slightly separated along one edge and now won't fully close/latch shut as it is catching on the inner frame. Does not need repainting/paint touch-up after.
