I have a solid internal door that needs hanging. I want to use the previous door handles as it’s a rented apartment. It needs 10 mil shaving off as the door is 820 but the original door is 810.

Looking for someone experienced to repair scratches and damage on my internal door caused by my dog. The door has surface scratches, chipped paint and some deeper marks near the bottom hinge side. We have an internal door that no longer closes properly — likely due to slight movement in the house and/or a latch issue. From what I can tell: - The door seems slightly misaligned in the frame (may need planing/sanding or hinge adjustment) - The latch/strike plate may not be lining up properly - The handle itself might also need attention (happy to replace internal mechanism if required, but would like to keep the existing handles) Looking for someone who can: - Adjust hinges and/or sand the door if needed - Realign latch/strike plate - Replace internal latch mechanism if faulty (I can cover cost of parts if needed) NOTE: This functional fix only - it doesn’t need to be a perfect cosmetic finish. We would like the internal door handles and locking mechanisms replaced on seven internal doors. We will supply the new handles, which we have just bought from Bunnings. It looks to me like the current door handles are an older style with a smaller hole, so I think a wider hole will need to be cut out.

Earn quick money over the break before you return to work! Door needs simple repairs - it slammed shut, has slightly separated along one edge and now won't fully close/latch shut as it is catching on the inner frame. Does not need repainting/paint touch-up after.
