Find an experienced handyman in North Sydney

Looking for an experienced plasterer or handyman with excellent plasterboard finishing and painting skills to repair a living room wall in my apartment in North Sydney. I’ve removed two floating TV shelves, which have left two long horizontal strips of damaged plasterboard, including torn surface paper, exposed plaster and some deeper gouges and fixing holes. The underlying plasterboard is solid, so I don’t believe any sheets need replacing. Scope of work: 1. Remove any loose plaster and damaged surface paper. 2. Properly seal exposed plasterboard and torn paper to prevent bubbling. 3. Fill all fixing holes, gouges and damaged sections. Also the is a bubble in the paint between the shelves that needs touchup. 4. Apply finishing compound as required, feathering the repairs into the surrounding wall. 5. Sand to a smooth, professional finish with no visible ridges or imperfections. 6. Prime all repaired areas. 7. Repaint the affected wall to achieve a consistent, seamless finish. The building has an original paint schedule available, so the correct paint colour and finish can be identified. My expectations: * Professional finish with no visible evidence of the previous shelves. * No raised edges, uneven patches or visible repair lines. * Protect the carpet, skirting boards and nearby electrical outlets. * Minimise dust and clean up thoroughly afterwards. * Supply all necessary tools and materials, including plaster compounds, sealers and primer. * Please specify whether matching wall paint is included in your offer. I need an experienced carpenter/internal-door installer to supply or custom make and install a bifold door to an existing bathroom opening in a studio apartment in North Sydney. There is currently only a curtain, and the door needs to be completed before guests arrive. Doors Plus has quoted to modify a standard bifold to suit the opening, including cutting and re-railing, but its lead time is too long. Please quote for: • Checking the opening dimensions and suitability. • Sourcing and supplying the door, track, hinges, pulls and other fittings. • Any necessary alteration, framing or trim. • Installation and adjustment. • Sealing/painting all faces and edges, including any cut edges. The existing door jamb opening measures approximately 2020 mm high × 650 mm wide.

I’m looking for someone to securely install a drop-top desk onto a gyprock wall. Job details: Mount the desk securely to the wall using the supplied gyprock fixings. Drill bits are also supplied. Fixings and mounting hardware are ready to use. Please ensure the desk is level and securely attached, suitable for normal use. Just need curtain brackets drilled/installed for 5 windows (inc bay windows) I have x5 IKEA BEKRAFTA sets. Unfortch the rods are 120 cm min and a couple of the windows might be smaller. So would be a plus if someone can also shorten them! I live in an art deco rental so doesn’t have to be perfect. I think the walls are all solid/brick. But would still appreciate a neat job!

I need a door handle replaced but cannot seem to be able to unscrew the round barrel to do this. Need help . The barrell won’t unscrew to allow access the the screws underneath … not sure why

250mm width / 320 mm length (pleasure feel free to measure to make sure I am correct) I have a small access panel in the apartment that needed to be cut to access the isolation valve for water. I would really appreciate it if the panel where to be replaced with something that could be opened or closed if in an emergency to turn off the water.
