Ceiling Repair. We are getting new blinds and the ceiling where one of the brackets for the old blinds attach is crumbling. Only one end of the blind is a problem; other end is fine. Needs a small piece of timber inside ceiling to allow a secure place for attaching new blind bracket. Repair and plastering required. No painting needed. We have a small step ladder ; ceiling is not high.

I’m looking for a qualified electrician to rewire a small vintage brass table lamp. The job involves inspecting the lamp and replacing the electrical cord, plug and any internal wiring or components as required to ensure it’s safe and working properly. I’d like to retain the original brass fittings and decorative finish wherever possible. The lamp is small, and I’m happy to drop it off or bring it to you if that’s more convenient. Need a handyman or carpenter to repair the top hinge on an internal painted timber door in New Farm, Brisbane.The hinge has pulled away from the jamb. Screws have stripped out of the wood and the timber around the hinge is cracked/chipped (photo attached). Grandson did a patchy job so needs a bit of preparation on some of it ie sanding back.

Have a roller blind custom made from DIY Blinds needing to be installed above the window/sliders. Measures just under 2.4m. Will need to supply appropriate anchors to support this length into plaster if what's included is not suitable.

Kitchen drawer. Both sides of soft close mechanism won’t reset back after drawer is pushed in. I have reset springs but after one close it won’t work second time. Runners all smooth. May need 2 new runners as cannot locate hook or latch system. I will just waste more time on it so asking for 2nd opinion ha

We need someone to install some curtains in our living room and bedroom. Currently living room has no curtains, bedroom has blinds that we want to get rid of. We tried installing the curtains in the living room but ran into issues trying to drill into the wall, so there are a few holes that will need patching up.
