Looking for an experienced handyman/carpenter to install one heavy-duty storage shelf in our garage in a freestanding house in Lilyfield. Shelf will be approximately 1800mm long × 500mm deep, mounted to a plasterboard wall. I have already identified several likely stud locations using a strong magnet, but these will need to be properly confirmed before installation. The job would involve: * Install approximately 4 heavy-duty steel shelf brackets, ideally fixed directly into the timber wall studs * Install an 1800 × 500mm shelf, ideally (18 or 25mm structural plywood or similar * Shelf to be mounted at the height shown in the attached reference/render * Ensure everything is level, securely fixed and suitable for relatively heavy garage storage * I can supply Carinya heavy-duty brackets from Bunnings or equivalent * Please bring appropriate tools/stud finder and fixings Access is straightforward through the garage and there is power available. I have existing folding timber french doors (opening to garden) that aren't opening properly (sticking) and need to be repaired so they open and roll smoothly. They also need to be painted. Each door is approximately 700 wide. Total width is 3500 and total height is 1950. Would ideally like someone who can also remove the old doggie door (bottom left hand side) and replace with windows same as rest of doors. Refer pics.

We recently had glass with build in dog door fitted however we want to change it back to the existing glass which we have kept in our garage. Must be experienced & qualified glazier. Tools required We have the glass ready to go.

We need a professional to install a new letterbox. The work would involve digging a hole for a tall letterbox pole, mixing concrete to pour into the hole, and then sliding the pole into the wet concrete down to the ground. The finale will be to affix the letterbox to the pole once the concrete footing has firmed. We expect the letterbox pole to be dead straight. You’d need to supply your own concrete mix, digging equipment, and tools.

3 Roman Blinds were removed during paint works. All the wall fittings are still intact, but the blinds need to be rehung. 2 bedrooms and lounge room. Urgent for privacy as bedrooms at front of house/street facing.

Had some work done by couple of guys and a part of it needs to be redone. There is a aircon return that needed to be included as part of a new ceiling, they built a wooden box to accommodate it. But it’s been orientated the wrong way. Gyprock sheet needs to come down (likely replaced with new). Gyprock installed into a rondo system. You can see in one photo the highlighted screws that go into the existing framework, and in the other photo I’ve drawn in what should be the correct orientation. It can’t fit with cornice that’s going in. The box to be reoriented would be a simple move for a carpenter. Return doesn’t need to be installed now, just ready for later after painting. Only decent /experienced carpenters with gyprock experience reply please.
