Looking for a handyman to help with a few jobs- fixing some floating floorboards that are loose and coming away (I think someone has fixed previously by removing the skirting, and tightening 2 toilet roll holders and 2 door knobs. Pictures included. Paying $60 per hour for as long as it takes (estimate 3 hours).

I have purchased 4x roller blinds that I would like installed to 4 windows of a flat. They are already cut to size so just need install brackets and blinds.

A balcony roof has a waterproof membrane above, which has failed over many years. In times of heavy rain, it leaks. The membrane needs to re replaced or Colourbond installed over it. Thereafter, the ceiling board requires repairing (from leaking) and repainting.

To fix a wardrobe stand (fell down due to excessive weight) also providing all the accesories required to do the job.

We have 3 ceiling fans that are quite noisy. Hoping they can be fixed instead of needing to replace them. Thanks

Wall Mounted Rack Re-Installation – Existing Setup, Wall Issues Identified Hey legends, We need help completing the install of a VULCAN wall-mounted squat rack. Previous installer attempted but couldn’t finish due to unexpected wall conditions. Here’s the situation: ✅ What’s already done: Brackets have been drilled into the wall (see photos). 150mm masonry bolts were used (as per builder's recommendation), but some couldn’t go all the way in. The rack is currently partially installed and hanging off the wall. ⚠️ Wall construction details: The internal wall is gyprock with timber studs. Behind the gyprock is a block wall approx. 55mm behind the plaster. Builder advised NOT to mount solely to the studs due to weight concerns. Installer attempted to go through to the block wall using 150mm bolts, but hit something solid (likely rebar or unknown obstruction) around 20–30mm before fully tightening. We have also tried 120mm bolts – still had trouble getting all the way through on one side due to possible blocking or obstruction. 🧰 What we need: Someone experienced with tricky wall mounts and problem-solving wall composition. Advice and ability to securely mount this rack – either with existing bolt approach or proposing a better fix. Ideally, someone who can inspect, assess and finish the job in one visit (we’re open to suggestion if it needs something different). 📍 Location: Bardon Please only apply if: You’ve worked with block/gyprock hybrid walls before Have your own tools (hammer drill, masonry bits, etc.) Can confidently advise whether this rack can be securely mounted, or if further builder involvement is needed. We have a casement window with some damage to the bottom right window frame from a water leak and some fungus getting in. See picture attached. Just needing to repair this - am thinking the damaged piece of wood will need replacing. We can help paint if needed. The dimensions of both windows together are 1070w x 1082h.
