We are experiencing random internet dropouts that last about 1-2 minutes on our NBN HFC 500/50 service. The connection disconnects completely and then reconnects on its own after a short period. Sometimes it remains laggy until we restart the modem and then it is fixed for a short period. This instability was also present with our previous ISP (TPG), though it previously showed as ping spikes rather than full disconnections. After changing providers, the issue remains. Dropouts occur at various times of day and across multiple devices, and are not limited to peak usage. We are unable to determine whether the cause is modem-related or line-related, and would like signal levels, line stability, and HFC infrastructure to be checked to identify the root cause.

Help! I have an encrypted external HDD on Apple File System (APFS) and I’m getting an error when plugging it in. The error says this “drive cannot be unlocked due to a problem”. I have tried everything online— disk repair, paid recovery software, plugging into a different Mac, also tried creating an image but it gets stuck. I have the encryption key and when i try to do it via command line prompt in terminal it says encryption key not valid or there is no user that can be found. I don’t really know what that means. I have the encryption key I just need to find a way to unlock as the encryption mechanism seems to be the problem If anyone is a professional data recovery guru that can do it in house with the proper tools etc i’m willing to pay 1k as long as i get the data back

I bought a new PC 2 months ago, when setting up I did not save password details It has now requested for a reset and I have forgotten the password I have tried resetting but the option to reset doesn’t come up when holding shift on reboot Need someone to Reset for me I don’t mind if all data needs to be erased if that’s the only way. Our home internet keeps dropping out intermittently across the whole house. NBN (iiNet) to the modem is working fine, but our Google WiFi mesh system (shown in the photo) seems to be the issue. We have multiple Google WiFi points across a three-storey, double-brick home, and devices often lose connection for ~10 seconds at a time before reconnecting. We need someone experienced with Google WiFi mesh networks to: • Diagnose why our Google WiFi points are failing or dropping • Check configuration, placement, or any faulty units • Restore stable, consistent internet across all floors Experience with mesh networks / Google WiFi is essential.
