Very novice DIYer here that wants to turn my daughter's floor bed into a loft style/cubby bed. I have ideas but need help to ensure feasibility and safety. I would like help to: 1. finalise the plan including materials (I will acquire and pay for these) and 2. execute the build. I would like to work together to build it because I want to improve my DIY skills, so you need to be OK with that. I have some tools but might need additional ones so it would be good if you have the right tools for the job. The photos don't quite capture my current idea but just to give you a visual of some sort.

General carpentry work nothing highly technical - sticking doors x 3, door latches need adjusting x 3, small bathroom door bolts fitting x 2 and window locks fitting to 4 sash windows. Happy to provide more details photos if required. I will supply all materials required.

Wanted: qualified chippy Job 1: Remove old door and install new door (supplied by us). Install a combination lock (also supplied by us). We need this door to be self-closing and self-latching. The metal frame is warped and may require removal and/or carpentry adjustments/a new frame. Job 2: Fix and reverse a narrow side door. Install self-closing hinges (supplied by us). I need the two beams of the garage shelving to be extended by 20cm each. The current beam length is 192cm. These beams are used for garage shelving with dimensions of 2x2x0.6m. Unfortunately, the widest shelving available on the market is 2m wide, but I need it to be 2.2m. The two beams will be used across the middle part of the shelving to create a two-level shelving unit, with the bottom level for a long sofa and the top level for a long table. Resizing the kitchen cabinet to fit in a larger fridge. When I moved in, I had to remove the cabinet on top of the fridge because my fridge is tall. I need help to resize the cabinet (shorter) and install it back to the cupboard.

Deck, seat and steps clean with pressure washer after applying deck wash, light sand some lightly moulded areas and apply two coats on integrain deck oil. This is a small deck, seat and 3-4 steps. Most is in very good condition, only a few boards need a light sand to remove mould. Oil and deck wash are supplied. Tasker to bring their own pressure washer and oil applicator. Need someone experienced and knowledgeable. Area less than 20sqm. Must be reliable and punctual and able to liaise with my elderly mother.
