Looking for a handyman or cabinetry person who can take a look at our apartment and quote on a range of areas please. Please don't judge the current mess! We've just moved in and need help... hence why we are asking here haha Kitchen and pantry: The pantry is a full-height cabinet and could use some additional shelves. A few other kitchen cabinets have dead space that could be better used. We're open to recommendations on what makes sense vs. what's overkill. eg pull out racks on tracks etc Fridge area There's an existing open shelf cavity above the fridge. We'd like to explore whether additional shelving or boxing can be added above or around the fridge to make better use of that space. Linen/laundry cupboard Currently a mess, as pictured. The cupboard has a tension rod shelf system that isn't cutting it. Looking for fixed shelving added to make it actually functional. Triple wardrobe (sliding doors) At the moment there's one shelf across the top and a hanging rod. Not enough. We'd like someone to spec out and install a more practical internal layout, things like double hanging, shelving sections, maybe a drawer unit. Open to suggestions. Bedroom storage The bedroom currently has a freestanding hanging rack and a standalone chest of drawers. It's not a built-in wardrobe situation. We'd love recommendations and a quote for how to improve this, whether that's a flat-pack wardrobe solution, built-ins, or something else that makes better use of the space. Photos attached. I recently had timber box pelmets removed to 4 x windows in my apartment as am getting curtains installed. After removing the pelmets there are gaps between the window reveal and underside of wall/lintel to each room and partially to the sides of the window reveal. The existing walls are 300mm wide double masonry and there is a painted timber reveal, which extends 110mm past the window frame. I need a builder, carpenter or plasterer for 'make good' works to the gaps located at the underside of the lintel and window head and to the side reveals, to the windows listed below: Windows x 4: Living Room - 2670W x 1510H (Door - 2120H) Kitchen - 1810W x 980H Bed 1 & 2- 1820W x 1510H I have been advised that one solution would be to add FC sheet substrate between window lintel and reveal, fix this to the underside of the wall, add corner bead, caulk gaps and replaster to match walls. As with all old houses, it’s an unusual size door. I picked up a secondhand hardwood door and frame which should fit the width but will need to be cut for the height. Keen to know if someone could make this work or if I’m delusional!

Half done repair of rotten window sill

Hi there, I've just moved into a 70's apartment block in Brunswick east and I am looking to get new curtains. Before doing this I need to remove the existing MDF box pelmets. The pelmets are fixed into a brick wall, some close up photos of fixings below. Make good of the brickwork above the pelmet and window reveal may also be required and will be assessed separately once pelmets are removed. Any comments or questions welcome.

Need a small area 1305 x 900 sheeted with cement sheet 2.1m in height. also need floor area droppped approx 40mm and sheeted with ctu or secura or similar product as this will be a shower floor. This area will then be screeded and tiled over. Also need an 820x2080 door frame created at entrance to room and a hinged door installed in the opening in the last photo.

We need some kitchen cabinetry modified/removed to accommodate a larger fridge. In the photos shown, the top cupboard and right side panel of the fridge cavity would need to be removed. Also open to the right side panel and a smaller cupboard above being re-installed if feasible.

Localised timber floor board scratch repair There are some deep scratches on three sections / rooms of a rental property and a burn mark in the kitchen that needs to be fixed. It requires localised timber floor board scratch repair without sanding back the entire floor. The repair will require colour matching to ensure the finish is as close to original as it can be. Kitchen - Damage near stove - ring mark due to a hot pot left on floor. Room 1 - 2 scratch marks that need to be repaired Room 2 - 3 Large deep scratch on floor with several other deep scratches around floor. Attempted to be repaired with wrong colour wood putty.
