I have a Shark PowerDetect vacuum cleaner with a powerhead brush roll that is no longer operating. Would Fix myself but do not have the time. Symptoms: * Front headlights show a solid red light. * Brush roll does not spin at all (no attempt to start). * Suction appears to be working normally. * Brush roll rotates freely by hand and is not jammed. Troubleshooting already completed: * Removed all hair and debris from the brush roll. * Cleaned the PowerDetect sensors. * Opened the powerhead for inspection. * Checked visible wiring and connectors for damage. * Cleaned dust from internal components. * Allowed the unit to dry after possible moisture exposure. * No obvious signs of burnt components or damaged cables. I’m looking for someone experienced in vacuum cleaner repairs or small appliance electronics to diagnose the fault and repair it if possible. I suspect the issue may be with the brush roll motor, wiring, or control board within the powerhead. Could possibly be the sensors too but doubtful. Wasnt able to tighten washing machine onto tap, tap is leaking (needs new washer we believe) and washers for hoses.
