You can do this job from early July.

I have a Bosch Serie 6 washer dryer (model: WVG28420AU) showing an E18 drain error. The drain pump filter was stuck, and while trying to open it, the plastic filter cap/handle is now broken and cannot be turned (see attached photo). What needs to be done: Safely remove the stuck/broken drain filter cap Access pump (front panel if required) without damaging housing Clear blockage (likely lint/coin/debris causing E18) Ensure machine drains properly Replace or advise on replacement of filter cap Important: Filter cap is completely stripped (only a bit of grip left) Will likely require proper tools or internal access Please only respond if you have experience with Bosch washing machines / similar repairs
