I have a large "garage door" (4m wide) with glass panels that separates living room from balcony. The door rises up by folding in four sections against the ceiling so that living room and balcony become one space. Really nice in good weather. BUT... Like any garage door this one has a huge gap at the top. Brushes on the wall at the top to keep out bugs and whatever. This means air gets through easily and my apartment fills up with smoke from bush fires and burn-offs. What I need is someone to source and install: * a 4m aluminium strip along the ceiling at the edge near the door * 8m of self-adhesive rubber/foam (?) block - 4m along the length of the aluminium strip - 4m along the matching face of the door When the door is closed the two rubber/foam blocks will create a seal against moving air (and smoke). The sides still leak but, in bad burn periods, simple masking tape will fix that - easy to apply, easy to remove. It's climate change and all that means there will be frequent, large burn-offs and fires from September through February. Time to accept it and modify this part of my life. There are six photos: 1. I have a 3-bedroom unit, with built-in cupboards in all bedrooms and in the kitchen - installed in 2001, and in good repair. All of the doors open and close, and all of the hinges appear to be in good working order. This task is purely about aesthetics. After 20 years, the doors no longer lined up with each other evenly. The screws on the cabinet hinges need tweaking to realign them. I count 61 doors - 39 with two hinges, 22 with three. I imagine about a third don't need any adjustment. I can provide, if needed: * step ladder or full ladder * screwdrivers * spirit level * off-street parking for vehicles below 1.8m. (There is on street parking around, but it is sometimes tricky to find.) So, might be a chance to leave the ute at home. - Due date: Flexible

I uninstalled a glass shower screen in my dad’s apartment to give easier access while he was ill. I now need to reinstall it. So the screen is measured and fitted and the plugs are still in the walls, just needs to be put back in place and siliconed. I also need the regular hinged bathroom door to be rehung.
