We're looking for a handyman to help solve a problem with a small section of warped DuraTuff vinyl cladding just outside the threshold of our granny flat. We think a batten of just the right dimensions could push the cladding back in line, provided it can be mounted securely to the existing timber decking so as to resist strong sideways shear. (The warped cladding is very rigid). The batten would need to be durable/external/H3-treated DAR, about 35mm x 40mm x 1000mm (HxDxL) or, for stronger shear resistance, maybe a whole plank?

The front door to my apartment has non complaint locks so I have been told the whole door needs to be replaced to a fire compliant door, I have the fire compliant locks now just need a licensed fire technician to replace the door and provide me with some sort of certification that it is compliant to present to strata.

Hi, I need someone to repair an internal door handle at my home in Strathfield, NSW. The lever handle has come off the door (see attached photos). The latch mechanism still appears to be installed, but the handle no longer stays attached. I’m looking for someone who can: * Inspect the door handle and determine the cause. * Reattach and secure the handle if possible. * Replace any missing screws or small parts if required. * If the handle is faulty and cannot be repaired, please let me know what replacement hardware is needed. We have two doors that I need fixed: 1. One of them: the door isn't closing. I'm not sure if it needs to be shaved off a bit but the lock isn't connecting with the lock part of it. 2. The other one: we just need a door handle put in with the door. It doesn't have to be perfect at all. We are doing a huge renovation at the end of the year so it doesn't have to be perfect, just work! . These are just my kids' rooms, and I need them to be able to close their doors properly.
