The current window is a standard single sliding window (approx 2x1m). The black locking clasp has a piece that fell off (that I still have) but all in all it still works/slides. I’d like to fix that piece and make sure the glass is flush when it closes, as it currently sits a bit wonky (probably contributing to the noise leaks to my disgruntled neighbours). I’d also like to implement any other affordable sound proofing measures you can suggest would be effective such as brush / weather strips, acoustic sealant and foam seal etc. If you can offer me a good price for another proven method of sound proofing such as double glazing etc then I’m also open to that. I want to make my room as sound proof as possible without turning it into a recording studio. Any help pointing me in the right direction would truely be appreciated.

The bathroom door is broken

There is an inward dent on the lower right corner of my wardrobe door, about 3 cm long.

My Garage door is not opening with remote. I can open and close it manually. It is from PSG Garage Doors, Automatic Technologies. The down arrow blue light is blinking.

We require a Carpenter or skilled Handyman to align renovated French windows. We’ve just had the windows re-painted and have placed new hardware on there, but we’ve hit a couple of issues; 1. The new hinges are slightly larger (barrel/cylinder bit) and it required us to Chisel out some extra timber to make them fit. Although they’re ‘almost’ working OK, they’ll still need some expertise to get them ‘perfect’. One window in particular, we had to fit the old hinges as we could not get that one to close. There’s a strip where it’s not properly sealed, so this could be corrected via either; better alignment or some type of weather strip. 2. The locks are practically the same, but the hole (where it bolts into) is slightly out of alignment, so the lock might need a spacer or potentially the hole might need to be re-done? I believe this will be a straightforward job for someone with attention to detail and experience in this stuff. I can assist, if required

Looking for an experienced handyman for wooden sliding door repair • Door is sticking against the frame . Very hard to slide and does not close properly • Likely caused by worn or damaged rollers/wheels under the door panels • Repair or replace rollers/wheels under the door panels if required

Needing someone to remove 3 internal doors (2 on hinges, 1 sliding), trim/plane 1.5cm off the bottom , and then re-hang. Getting new flooring installed and doors will be too big. Unsure if doors are fully solid or hollow core (suspect they’re fairly solid)

I tried to replace the handle myself and had issues. One of the screws is stuck from Water damage so I can’t get the door apart. I have a replacement handle. I need it done Soon please can someone help. Located in yarraville.

Rubber seal needs replacing on window glass of sliding door

We have the internal cavity sliding door to our garage not working smoothly (pretty sure the back sliding mechanism has come off the roller). We also need 2 beds assembled - 1 king size which I believe I have all the screws for, and; 1 queen size which we cannot find the bolts for (we recently moved and think the removalists forgot to hand them over). I’ve taken a photo with my fingernail for reference.
