Cupboard door has come away from the top hinge - the wood in the cupboard door is weak and has crumbled away so will need filling or reinforcing before the door can be reattached.

Window needs to be taken off its hinges. Planed. And the handle reattached. Then the window needs to be put back in place. When we opened our window a few weeks ago, we now cannot close it because it has been painted/expanded. The windows are old wooden single glazed. We live in a second floor flat. Task needs a saw and a cordless drill because no electricity socket. No ladder required. My shelf needs to be saw down from 130 to 120. It then needs putting up on wall of shed. The walls are brick. I have the shelf and brackets.

Bedroom repairs: * In the corner of our bedroom (on the internal side of an external wall), the lining paper has become mouldy, and some plaster has cracked slightly. We need: * The plaster repaired. * The lining paper replaced and repainted to match the rest of the room. * In the opposite corner of the room, the lining paper is coming off due to mould. We may require the same repairs as above in this area. Window repainting: * Two external wooden windows need repainting as the paint is flaking off. Garage door replacement: * The current door leading to our garage from the courtyard has expanded due to wet weather and is difficult to close. We need: * A new, more suitable door installed. * The existing frame retained, as the garage is old and built with breeze blocks, and it isn’t worth replacing the frame. Ideally, we would like you to visit on Monday, 20th Jan to provide a quote. If this isn’t possible, Wednesday, 22nd Jan is also an option. Door handle between living room and hallway will not open.

A fortnight ago James D did a great job on my utility room doors. Secured the hinges and shaved the bottom of one as it was dragging a bit on the tiles. All fine, but now it’s catching a little bit.
