Reposting as have been let down twice by the guy I had lined up to do the job… Back in February the upstairs flat had a leaky sink tap which caused some minor damage to our bathroom ceiling below. It’s now fully dry and in need of redecorating. Have attached a photo of the damage initially and now that it’s dry. The biggest patch is above the bathroom window and there is also a small patch on the ceiling above the door. Just need these small sections making good again. FYI this is what the previous contractor had intended to do: “scrape and sand watermarks, fill if necessary and then stainblock the whole ceiling and once dry give the ceiling another full coat of Dulux easy care bathroom paint in white.” If you’d like to take a look before quoting our tenants can be available most evenings after 5:30pm. I need my kitchen painted, not long moved in and need to freshen up the kitchen. It’s 11ft x 9ft so it’s not very big. Most of the walls are half tiled except one. I need the job to be completed this Friday before 1:00pm so please only offer if you want meet this requirement. I had purchased the paint but because the current colour is dark it will probably need a few coats. I also need the ceiling painted white, which I also have the paint for. I will need the tasker to bring their own brushes, rollers etc. As I am disabled I have been unable to get into the high to reach places and clean so there is some debris that needs to wiped away if you don’t mind doing that.

We want someone who has and can use either Doff or Thermatec machine to steam off multiple layers of paint (including lead paint) from an 1860s building, built of soft, red brick. We can’t use jetwash or sandblasting kit - it must be one of what I’ve said and likely with chemicals beforehand. And it doesn’t need to go back to immaculate bare brick - just as close as we can to make the wall breathable, Size is 13m x 6m (two storeys) tall with 6 openings (door and windows). If you have scaffolding or a tower then great, if not we can rent for you. Must have a portfolio of similar work or references.
