I've built up a backlog of small household jobs and would like them done in one go by someone reliable and tidy. Roughly a full day's work. Just as importantly, I'm hoping this becomes a longer-term arrangement. I'd rather find one person I can call whenever something needs doing than start from scratch each time, so trust matters a lot to me. If this first day goes well, there will be steady work. The list covers four areas: Decorating and repairs: touching up paintwork on the staircase woodwork, including wood filler where needed. Filling, sanding and repainting a stained patch of ceiling. Re-caulking two bathrooms. Mounting and hanging: living room curtains, several mirrors and artwork around the house. Walls are a mix, so the right fixings for plasterboard and masonry will be needed. Smart home and security: fitting smart cameras and bulbs, removing a redundant outdoor Yale alarm box and replacing it with a SimpliSafe bell box and plaque, plus opening an outdoor key safe. Odds and ends: swapping a burr in a coffee grinder, repotting houseplants. You'll need your own tools, including a drill, ladder and basic decorating kit. I'll supply all materials unless you'd rather source anything yourself. Good communication and turning up when you say you will matter as much to me as the quality of the work. Happy to walk through everything at the start and then leave you to it. Splitting it across two shorter visits is fine too. I need an experienced decorator to repair and repaint the ceiling in my son's bedroom. The ceiling has an old water stain from a leak that was repaired several years ago. The area is completely dry and the stain has not changed for years. The ceiling was previously repainted, but I don't believe a stain-blocking primer was used, so the stain has bled back through. The job will involve: Preparing the damaged area (scraping/sanding any loose paint if required). Treating any surface mould if necessary. Applying a suitable stain-blocking primer/sealer. Filling/sanding any minor imperfections if needed. Repainting the entire ceiling with two coats of white ceiling paint. Please provide all materials, including stain-blocking primer, ceiling paint and any fillers required. Please only quote if you have experience repairing water-stained ceilings. Looking for an experienced handyman to: - Repair and make good several holes in a plasterboard wall from a previous wardrobe installation. > Includes removing any remaining fixings/anchors. > Largest hole is approximately fist-sized, with several others around 3–4 cm wide. > No painting required. > Wall just needs to be repaired, filled, sanded smooth, and made good as it will be hidden behind the wardrobe. - Assemble and install an IKEA PAX wardrobe in an alcove and secure it safely to the wall. - Remove a section of skirting board on the right-hand side of the alcove as required to allow the wardrobe to fit correctly. Technogym Jog 700 needs repair/service The treadmill has been inactive for a while. I had purchased the tread mill for use at home. When turned on somes times it starts up and starts turning the belt initially but sometimes it just stops and displays: pause Resetting and then press any key to continue Sometimes the message is PAUSE: press QUICK START to restart other times i switch it on and off, then it starts working as i increase the speed it just stops again Basically it wont pick up speed and if we do manage to get it to some speed, it will then stop after some seconds.

Our door seems to sag when opened, which means it's always been very stiff to close, and now the door that slides has actually come loose from the mechanism, meaning it doesn't slide back closed properly, we have to lift it back into place. I attached photos that might make it easy to see.
