Scope of Works: - Alter and widen an existing internal archway to form a suitable door opening - Form new opening and install door lining/frame - Allow for relocation of adjacent light switch if necessary - Make good all disturbed areas, including plasterboard and finishes - Supply and install a certified FD30 fire door set (door, frame, intumescent strips, seals, hinges, closer, and all ironmongery) - Fit architrave and skirting to match existing - Prepare and decorate all new joinery to a high standard Compliance & Certification: - All works must comply with UK Building Regulations (Approved Document B) and relevant standards (e.g. BS 8214 via BSI Group guidance) - Provide certificate of installation/compliance for fire safety on completion - Alternatively, coordinate with Building Control for inspection and sign-off if not registered under a competent person scheme
