I’m looking for an experienced flooring fitter or competent handyman to help me complete a DIY installation of Palio by Karndean luxury vinyl click flooring (Simple Plank). I’ve already laid a substantial section of the floor and am happy with the progress so far. I need help finishing the remaining areas, particularly around the kitchen units, fridge feet, end panels and doorway/thresholds. Scope of work: * Continue laying and click-locking the remaining vinyl planks. * Measure and cut planks neatly around the kitchen unit end panels and fixed fridge feet. * Make accurate cuts around doorways, edges and other obstacles. * Help with any awkward joints or cuts and ensure a neat finish. * Advise on any necessary minor subfloor preparation before laying the remaining planks. Materials: Palio by Karndean click-lock vinyl planks are already on site. I’m happy to discuss any additional materials or tools needed. Ideal person: Someone with experience fitting click-lock LVT/vinyl flooring, particularly around kitchens and fixed obstacles. Please bring the appropriate cutting tools and flooring installation tools. Please quote for the work, ideally with an indication of how long you expect it to take.

I am revamping my hallway. The corridor is 1m x 6m. I have the roll floor vinyl to lay down. But please see pictures - the wood was floor underneath needs small repairs. I think plywood underpayment is required before we lay the floor vinyl. Please advise. Depending on how the floorboards are repairs, laying down the vinyl should be quick and straightforward. Hi, I am interested in a survey and quotation for sanding and finishing of 35 sqm of Wooden plank flooring in a house near Balham, across 4 first floor rooms with no stairs. The wooden flooring is in good condition, and currently painted but worn down. We would like to remove the paint and freshen up to then potentially repaint. Is a survey and quote possible this week?
