I'm looking for someone to build a new box-style structure inside my fireplace using fireproof cement board — that means a front panel plus panels on either side and above, so it forms a complete shape around the log burner. Once that's in place, I only want the front panel tiled in a red-and-white checkerboard pattern. The tiles will be supplied by me. You'll need to bring everything else: the cement board, heat-resistant adhesive, heat-resistant grout, and a paintable fireproof caulk for the joins. The side and top panels you build won't be tiled and don't need painting, so they can be left as bare cement board. The log burner will stay in place, so the work needs to be done around it. The existing surround and hearth shouldn't be touched. I just want a clean, safe tiled border on the front, with a properly built cement-board structure behind it. i've attched the current view plus the view i'm trying to create.

I need a handyman to install one blind inside the window recess of my flat. The blind and brackets are already purchased. The installation is inside the recess, so I’m suspicious that you will likely hit a concrete or steel lintel above the window - this is why I am not attempting it myself! Blind will probably need a small trim also - I’m happy to do this myself but i’m worried about getting the width wrong.

I need someone to help put a few things back in place/ make the place look better before I move out. - I need a door re-hanging as it’s currently on upside down - I need a door handle added to the door - I need two tv brackets taken off the wall, holes filled in so that I can paint over - Light bulb to be fitted to my kitchen light, the casing has cracked and I’m unsure how to re-attach (see pictures) I do possibly also have a job to paint all walls as a once over to cover any marks / scratches and gloss the skirting boards - but this would depend on pricing.
