I've removed an old toilet seat and needed to change the fixings for new seat. I managed to get one of the fixings off but the other fixing has a rusted, seized wing nut and a thick bolt, with very limited access behind the toilet. Please bring a compact metal-cutting tool and fit a replacement top- or bottom-fixing toilet-seat kit.

You will need to bring a nail cutter or grinder, as nails are rusty, and it is not a front-fix seat, but I have a new front-fix seat to put on, which is really easy; it's just the stubborn bolts. Toilet is clean and will be if attended to.
