Heavy ish medium chandelier to be hung to ceiling of living room - which is atleast 5/6m high up and not sure if ceiling needs reinforcements. The lighting / electrics don't need to work/ be connected - its more for aesthetics

I need to fix a chandelier on my celing

Help putting up 4 medallion mouldings on ceiling and 4 chandeliers however need to be able to work around the fact the chandelier is a bit wide for the moulding so might need an extender or figure out how to sort out. In addition the wiring in critical is old uk wiring while chandelier is new wiring so would need adapters as shown in picture

It will be hung from a ceiling rose as shown in the photo. There is already a wire and dimmer set up. The chandelier is quite heavy so I imagine we will need to lift floorboards upstairs and either fix it to a joist or install a structural timber support. The ceiling is modern plasterboard. I can be flexible on fitting times as work from home.

The landlord’s original light fitting must then be reinstalled, tested and left fully working. We need a chandelier hung up. But there is nowhere to fix it to. You will need to go into the loft and add some wood on the floor to allow the chandelier to then be fixed to something and hung up.
