We recently had an electrician install a Soho Home Allis chandelier, but it was mounted directly into the ceiling rose rather than the solid ceiling above it. The chandelier weighs around 15kg, and the electrician advised against attaching the glass globes due to weight concerns, but I believe the issue is that it hasn’t been anchored into a secure ceiling point. I’m looking for someone experienced with lighting installations who can: • Assess how the chandelier is currently mounted, • Properly secure it into the ceiling (through the decorative rose, if needed), • Safely attach the glass globes once it’s stable. It may require longer screws, toggle bolts, or an alternative ceiling anchor solution. I’d really appreciate a professional opinion on how best to fix this properly and safely. Please bring any appropriate tools or fixings. Photos attached for reference. We currently have a half installed chandelier in the ceiling with no resolve. The chandelier was previously installed, but as a result of renovations a decorative rosette was installed.
