Hi, Hope all is well. I’m looking for someone to help repair a washing machine as soon as possible. We currently have clothes stuck inside the machine because the door handle has malfunctioned and the door will not open. The job would be to either fix or replace the door handle. Hello there, I am looking for someone to help repair or open a washing machine today with a broken door handle/lock. It doesn’t click anymore and it’s loose. It cannot be opened at all, and there are still clothes trapped inside. The machine itself appears to be working, but the handle or locking mechanism seems broken.

Washing machine is jumping around - we suspect it was installed incorrectly (the machine was 'professionally' installed by Marks Electricals). We suspect that either the shock absorbing mat is not right, or the machine was not levelled properly, or shipping bolts were left in a new machine. Need help figuring out the reason and fixing it. We will provide photos and further details. If you think some specialised padding is needed please direct us and we can buy it before the date of your visit. As you can see from the photos, the WM has moved out from under the kitchen counter quite a lot and the legs are now hanging over the shock absorbing mat. We don't know if it was like that initially or happened over time. Budget negotiable.

Washing machine needs fixing - won't spin, likely as water not draining properly. Done some initial investigation but now need a professional. Machine will need pulling out of its position which will be difficult. Machine: Indesit IWDD washer-dryer (7kg + 5kg) Symptoms • Won’t spin. Spin-only cycle: timer counts down but motor never engages - no sound, no attempt to turn. • Drum rotates freely by hand. • Door lock engages correctly (single click on cycle start). • No error codes displayed. Diagnostics performed so far 1. Pump filter cleared. Removed kickplate, drained via filter, found a significant plastic blockage inside. Removed it. Impeller inspected — looks intact, spins with magnetic detents (normal). 2. Spin re-tested after filter clean - still won’t spin. Empty drum, so not an imbalance issue. 3. Drain/rinse cycles confirmed pump runs - humming/whirring audible for ~30 seconds. 4. Tilt test revealed water still sloshing in drum despite pump running and filter being clear. 5. Rinse + spin cycle attempted - significant water came out via filter afterwards, confirming pump is not fully clearing the drum. Best Guess So Far Pump runs but flow is restricted. Spin is then inhibited by the pressure sensor detecting residual water (safety interlock), which explains why the motor never engages. Possible causes: 1. Blockage in the sump hose (corrugated rubber hose between drum and pump) - possibly secondary debris from the original plastic blockage. 2. Damaged impeller blades not visible from filter side. 3. Weak/failing drain pump. Not yet checked • Sump hose (would require tilting machine). • Pressure sensor / pressure chamber hose. • Motor carbon brushes

Washing machine needs to be connected to water supply under kitchen sink.. May need to add a new valve to pipework to allow connection. Plus a minor leak under sink, may need resealing or quick fix with plumbers mait.
