Leaking dishwasher may need new waste pipe

The dishwasher is a year old but the message it gives us is that the pipes are not getting water in or out.

We have a new washing machine that needs to be connected to the water system under the sink and we also have a dishwasher that we’d like to be reconnected to the water system too!

My Electrolux dishwasher is stuck in the Eco mode cycle and doesn’t ever stop running. Maybe pipes are blocked and water cannot go away.
