Zanussi Washer Dryer diagnostics and repair required. Previous handy man came to repair but was unable to. Said it appeared there was a heating element fault as a likely result of tenant negligence to cleaned and maintain filter cleaning, cuasing debris clogg. Bathroom extractor fan issues unknown, currently they are not switching on.

Tried to remove the drain pump on my Zanussi washing machine to clean it and it won’t come out and there is a blockage as I am getting an e20 error and it won’t wash clothes. Hi, I need a qualified washing machine technician to fix a Zanussi washing machine that is showing an E20 error (drainage problem). The machine currently: • Has a partially removed blockage (an old piece of cloth) in the drain area. • The drain pump filter (inner filter / PU filter) is stuck and has been damaged due to attempts to remove it with pliers. • The drain cycle was attempted, but water still isn’t draining fully. The task should include: 1. Assessing and repairing or replacing the damaged drain pump. 2. Removing and cleaning any remaining debris in the filter or pump housing. 3. Ensuring the machine drains normally and the E20 error is cleared. 4. Optional: advising on preventive maintenance to avoid future blockages. Notes: • Some water may spill during the process — towels/tray recommended. • Limited hand space makes it difficult to access the filter. • The machine is a Zanussi front-load washer (exact model can be provided). Requirements: • Experience with Zanussi or similar front-load washing machines. • Ability to safely repair or replace damaged drain pumps. • Tools to remove stubborn filters and clear E20 errors. Washing machine needs to be connected to water supply under kitchen sink.. May need to add a new valve to pipework to allow connection. Plus a minor leak under sink, may need resealing or quick fix with plumbers mait.

Washing machine is housed in an under sink unit. Could need handling underneath machine to detach drain pump.
