Proper packing is crucial to protect your belongings and other valuables either for transit or for storage. Once your packer arrives at your location, they first assess your packing needs. You can choose to have all furniture and appliances in your home professionally packed or only select rooms or items. In some cases, you may need to get help in disassembling your furniture for packing or ask for complete furniture removal and disposal if you no longer want to keep your old furniture pieces.
Have some office rubbish or a garage full of stuff ready to go? You can also book a rubbish removal service to help you get rid of items you don't want to store or bring with you when moving.
Gathering of packing materials
After assessing your furniture and other items to be packed, your packing professional gathers the necessary packing supplies and materials. This includes boxes of different sizes, rolls of tape and bubble wrap, heavy markers, sticker labels, scissors and cutters, and so on. If you have fragile furniture such as mirrors, antiques, or special paintings, our expert packers can take note of them and get the proper packing supplies needed such as speciality crates, furniture pads, and packing peanuts.
Packing and unpacking of items
Once your packer has gathered all the supplies, they are ready to get packing! Rugs and carpets are rolled carefully and wrapped securely, glass and crystal furniture are individually padded, or bubble-wrapped, and all boxes and packing cartons are sealed from top to bottom, on all sides to prevent any damage. They are then loaded into a moving van or vehicle ready to be transported to your new place or a storage facility.

Hi there, I’m about to start renovating my kitchen and laundry on 2nd April. There are several tasks that I require help with: 1. Safely emptying and packing up everything in the kitchen and laundry including but not limited to crockery, appliances, pots and pans and dried foods (essentially all the stuffs that people put in their kitchen) 2. Sorting and labelling during packing would be good. Packing boxes and tapes may also be needed 3. Help putting away things in the living room and entry area such as rugs and books 📚 for storage 4. Help with tidying up the spare bedroom where ideally everything will go in for temporary storage during renovation (Pictures to be uploaded late this Thursday or early Friday) I anticipate this task would take at least one whole day (lots of small objects that may be fragile), possibly even longer depending on how it goes. Anastasia is such a gem! I essentially left everything to the last “minute” even though I planned on tacking all the tasks over 2 weeks.
