I want the the rainwater tank removed from my house

There are 2-3 pinhole leaks on the bend in the pipe shown on the first photo, mainly located on the inside of the elbow. I haven't measured the pipe size, but someone with an eye or the right knowledge should be able to tell. The diameter doesn't look much wider than a cm, but I can measure it in a bit if needed. Anyway, it's a Bosch YS2170RA5P gas water heater. Option A is for the quoted amount and that is to simply cover the entire bend with a quality putty, but I'm happy to 'double things' for the preferred Option B, which is to replace the elbow with new piping. Obviously, the second half would also not be subject to 'Airtax', if you catch my drift. Price is important to me too, so feel free to undercut.
