Hello, I have purchased a door pre primed and attempted to paint it myself today but realized quite quickly the task isn’t so easy. Meltdown over… can anyone please help me to paint it , baring in mind first layer (just one side) is not really complete and uneven. I also didn’t cut around door handle as after I poured paint I realized brush was not in the bag and proceeded to try get around with roller. Lesson learnt. Please help! Looking for a painter to paint our nursery, bottom up to the board and batten panneling will be vivid white. The top half above the panneling will be olive (Dulux backyard) We have purchased both paints , 1 litre in each, which we may have to nip and get more depending on your advice. We have plenty of frog tape to mark off the walls and a plastic sheet for the carpet, but will have to supply your own tools and brushes. We do have a step ladder as well to use.
