I have a frameless glass shower door that is making a very loud cracking/popping noise from the hinge area. The door operates normally initially, but if it is opened beyond roughly 45 degrees and then closed, there is a significant crack/pop from the hinge. It appears the glass-to-glass self-closing hinge may be worn, misaligned or binding, potentially with the door having dropped slightly. Looking for an experienced glazier/shower screen technician to inspect the hinges, realign the door if required, and replace the affected hinge if necessary.
