I have issues with the flooring beneath our carpet in two rooms. In 1 room the flooring seems to have gaps between the MDF sheet that make up the floor, There are several places that when you step in the right way you feel the carpet lower and dip like a gap. In another room there a section where it seems that a corner of the MDF doesn't have any support and drops a lot making a lot of noise. The carpet needs to be lifted up and the repairs made to close the gaps by inserting new supports or extra wood to close the gap. The house is an old Double Brick Clinker Home. I've been told there is very limited space under those rooms but there is access from the back of the house to get under for someone to try. When we bought this house our building inspection said that one of the walls had a high moisture reading.
