Hi, I’m looking for a quote to repair my garage door opener. It’s an ECO garage door opener that’s over 10 years old. The opener has power and the motor runs, and the chain moves, but the door won’t open. The door moves freely by hand, stays balanced halfway, and the torsion spring appears to be intact. We re-engaged the trolley after it had become disengaged, and the opener was able to drive the door down (although not fully closed), but it now won’t open again. Pressing the UP button on the opener itself also does not move the door. Based on troubleshooting, the issue appears to be with the opener rather than the door itself. Could you please provide an indication of the likely repair cost, or whether replacement of the opener would be more economical? Thank you.

There are three parts to the job. 1) Clean surface mould in the grout of two showers (main and granny flat bathrooms). Using a mould-specific grout cleaner, (not general bleach spray), spray directly onto the grout and leave for 10–30 minutes (be patient). Then scrub with a grout brush, rinse thoroughly and dry. 2) Repair a chipped tile on the shower floor (granny flat shower). Using a two part epoxy tile repair, colour-matched to the tile or grout, clean and dry the area, remove any loose material, mix epoxy, fill the chip slightly proud, then smooth flush with tile surface. Allow full cure before water use. 3) The job also requires the supply of all materials and equipment. We are hoping for the job to be completed as soon as possible.
