Painting a patch of ceiling and cornicing (cupboards will cover the rest of the wall), a couple of walls (approx 3m x 2m and 1.5 x 2m) a laundry ceiling (3mx2m) and 3 architraves, as well as a couple of doors. We have the paint. The patches will be top coated and sanded by the Friday. Looking to pay a painter by the hour ($80) as unsure how long the job will take, but estimating 1.5 days. I would like an experienced carpenter/builder to rebuild the lower section of a gyprock wall (laundry) where moisture has caused the timber bottom plate and bottom of studs to rot & crumble away. In 2-5 years, I would like to rebuild this entire room (as understand the issue is bigger than this one wall!), but for now, would simply like the wall made structurally sound and rotten material replaced with moisture-resistant alternatives to buy me some time before I plan a bigger renovation. Will need to make the studs structurally sound (add something to support them at the bottom as no longer touching concrete base), add new bottom plate (something moisture-resistant please), and replace the missing gyprock & door framing. I've removed lots of the damaged materials so you can clearly see the issue!

I’m looking for a licensed and insured gyprocker to carry out ceiling patching, sanding and sagging repair work in my home. The ceiling was a glue only job, so if current gyprock can be screwed to the ceiling battens.
