Wasn’t sure how to change globes on this one and accidentally took the top cover out and in the process broke the wire connection to the light. Rookie mistake. Need it fixed soon. Not sure if light fitting needs replaced with a new one or can reuse existing with just new wires. Looking for someone who doesn’t charge an arm and leg.

The ceiling fan had been wobbly at high speed for several months and I heard a noise like a screw flying off when I was asleep yesterday and ran and turned it off as it sounded unstable. It is partially hanging loose from the ceiling and I need it safely re-secured. Hopefully in the next couple of days. The ceiling isn’t very high but it is a gently slanted roof. Our ceiling fan makes a low humming noise when it is on. It seems to only function on the lowest setting and doesn’t change speed when you adjust the dial on the wall.
